I am creating this beautiful, insightful blog to help people find wisdom and courage through my coloring. I write back stories to all my colorings as if I were in the art itself. I hope everyone enjoys my color art and insightful words of the back stories.Emily Haley

Darkness

You have a beautiful heart but no one acknowledges you.

You stare at him day after day; watching him bring life to everyone and everything with his brightly glowing ora of orange. You desire to grow beautiful, vibrant, flowers just as he.

You cross paths with him every now and then, but you always disappear back into the unsettling abyss.

Instead of glowing, you are stuck.

Stuck forever, in darkness.

However, there is the that one miniscule glimmer of hope.

Which is when you are able to show your full self.

That’s when others truly appreciate your beauty.

Only again, it does not last long.

So you cry the saddest tears of blue, and you fade back from the light.

Into your dark home.

Working Bee

You always work hard it comes natural to you. You wake up each morning with a list of demands to keep yourself and hive afloat.

You have mouths to feed, and hives to finish in time.

Will you succeed today?

Who knows, only time will tell.

You see all of the other worker bees who seem to have it down, but deep inside of you, you worry. Am I fast enough? Why are all the other bees more colorful and vibrant?

Then you see the beautiful color roses, orchids, and flowers that remind you of the beauty in nature.

You know deep down you are just as colorful and bright as the flowers. Everyday you will try to stay positive and work hard because you are beautiful.

Colors of Depression in Reality

Your mind blossoms and is full of life filled with different, vibrant, colors.  You set out with the mind set to make the world beautiful.

Then one day you are burned by the flames of reality. And then, your eyes tear up, you cry dead flowers of disappointment on how ignorant you had thought life was.

Then you must dig deep past the flames under that ever smiling face to see the hope of life burried within. 20170419_100259
